Links We are members of the Berkshire Pig breeders Club. The Berkshire Pig Breeders Club was founded in 1983 for three reasons: to promote the Berkshire breed, to further communication between breeders and to encourage the keeping of pedigree Berkshire pigs. This website has been designed to fulfil those objectives: it is a comprehensive online resource for members, enthusiasts and newcomers.
We are members of the British Pig Association. The British Pig Association was founded in 1884. The Association is the official breed society and maintains the Herd Books for the following breeds: Berkshire, British Landrace, British Saddleback, Duroc, Gloucestershire Old Spots, Hampshire, Large Black, Large White, Middle White, Oxford Sandy & Black, Pietrain and Tamworth.
‘Opening Doors’ is a unique programme of workshops, training, inspiration and support for women entrepreneurs thinking of or starting up their own business. Covering the counties of Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire. We are members of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. The RBST is the leading conservation charity working to restore Britain’s native livestock breeds to their rightful place in our countryside. |
